Bio

Benjamin Beech MD, FRCSC is a Urologic Oncologist and Surgeon at the Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute, part of Hartford HealthCare. He specializes in providing multidisciplinary care for patients with complex genitourinary malignancies. He has experience with both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques, allowing him to provide the best care for each patient's individual situation.

Dr. Beech completed medical school at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada. He then completed residency in Urology at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He then completed a 2 year fellowship specializing in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Beech is involved in training the next generation of Urologists and Urologic Oncologists through participation in residency and fellowship training programs. He performs clinical research, including interests in patient reported outcomes, quality of care, and clinical trials. He is a member of the Society of Urologic Oncology, as well as the American and Canadian Urological Associations.
